EUROTOLERCULTURE: СКЛАДАЄМО ПРОГРАМИ УРОКІВ УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ ЛІТЕРАТУРИ У РОЗРІЗІ КУЛЬТУРИ ТОЛЕРАНТНОСТІ

On February 29, students of the Faculty of Philology of ZNU (Zaporizhzhia National University) worked with the topics of the course "European strategies for the formation of a tolerant society: media, education, art", which is being implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module EUROTOLERCULTURE "European experience of forming a culture of tolerance in the Ukrainian perspective: education, media, art".

The course developer, Iryna Bondarenko, presented the practice of introducing a culture of tolerance into the educational process in the countries of the countries of the European Union. Students learned about the principles of the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) and tried to apply the practice of human rights protection to the realities of Ukrainian society.

Philologists lively discussed the issues of equality, integration and respect for diversity of all, including women and girls, children and youth, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people, indigenous peoples, persons belonging to national, ethnic, religious and national, ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities, people with disabilities, migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons and stateless persons. internally displaced persons and stateless persons.

Iryna Bondarenko suggested that future educators present a package of reforms aimed at leveling the intolerant environment in secondary and higher education institutions, as well as to draw up a program of Ukrainian literature lessons that would instill the values of an inclusive society. Students of the educational programs "Secondary Education. Ukrainian language and literature", "Philology. Ukrainian Language and Literature", "Polish Translation and Intercultural Communications" Ilya Kalinichenko, Anna Dyrybyan, Olha Syniavska, Lisa Dimitrova, Daria Kharcheva, Iryna Ivaniv, Sofiia Bizhko, Anna Vasyliuk proposed interesting methodological tools for introducing a culture of tolerance into the educational process.

The EUROTOLERCULTURE project is a team effort of the Dean of the Faculty of Philology Iryna Bondarenko, Head of the Department of of Ukrainian Literature Nataliia Horbach, associate professors of the department Yuliia Kurylova, Valentyna Nikolaienko, Iryna Bakalenko, and a postgraduate student Oleksandr Smyrnov, who are working on individual modules.

At the same time, Iryna Bondarenko announced a creative contest "See, Hear, Feel: Toward Understanding ", which will cover a wide target audience - students of secondary schools in Zaporizhzhia and the region, students of Zaporizhzhia National University, centers and IDP support centers in Zaporizhzhia.
